Business is simple – “Take care of the People and the money will take care of itself.” That is the business model that Peter Jacobsen uses. Born in Calgary and raised on a farm nearby, Peter has lived in the Calgary area all his life. He has consistently risen to the top in his business ventures and always strives to learn and grow.
Working with a large local Tire and Automotive Repair company from age 19, Peter became a Partner by age 25 with ownership in several locations. After 22 successful years, and with his family substantially grown, Peter retired from the automotive business.
Not one to sit around, especially at only 42, Peter worked with an R&D company developing products for the oil patch and also enrolled in the Master Builder program with the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta. Having friends and colleagues in Real Estate tweaked Peter’s interest and he entered the business in 2009. Sometimes you find the perfect career – sometimes it finds you.
22 years of retail and management/ownership experience, 6 years of corporate experience, life and family lessons along with continuing training have given Peter the unique set of skills required in Real Estate transactions.
Patience, listening, attention to detail, along with negotiation and contract experience have all worked together to place Peter among the top producers within CIR Realty (approx 700 agents) in a very short time period. Peter’s tenacious; never give up attitude and ability to close allows him to get the difficult jobs done.

Outside of real estate, Peter is a Private Pilot and enjoys all types of motor sports – thankfully his wife encourages this. He is also a large investor in US real estate.
I moved to Calgary from Kelowna, BC in 2001 and immediately fell in love with this city, and all of the exciting opportunities it has to offer. After earning my Diploma in Broadcasting, I worked in the fields of both broadcast and print journalism before deciding it was time for a new challenge. Real Estate was a very natural and obvious choice for me as I have always had a fascination with the industry.
From private showings and contracts, to marketing strategies and current market conditions; I understand the importance of being well educated, and experienced, in all aspects of Real Estate.
